This secluded three-bedroom apartment is uniquely situated within the serene gardens of an ancient churchyard in the heart of East London. Our design approach was deeply influenced by the client's vision to create a warm, inviting atmosphere that harmonizes with the tranquil surroundings. To achieve this, we carefully selected lighting and color schemes that enhance the natural warmth of the space. Every element of the design was thoughtfully curated to ensure a cohesive aesthetic throughout the apartment. We sourced bespoke furniture and materials with a focus on quality and consistency, with many of the furniture pieces crafted from the same tree, creating a sense of unity and connection to nature. Versatility was a key consideration in our design. For example, the banquette seating was designed not only to offer comfortable dining space but also to provide built-in storage and the ability to convert into a single guest bed when needed. This multifunctional approach allows the space to adapt to the owner's lifestyle with ease. Additionally, we carefully incorporated the owner's art collection into the styling of the apartment, ensuring that each piece complemented the overall design while adding a personal touch. The result is a warm, welcoming home that reflects the owner's taste and lifestyle, set against the peaceful backdrop of an ancient churchyard.
